Athletic BCN is a specialized training center for soccer players.
We promote the development of footballers by combining physical, technical and cognitive training in a unique way.
Our methodology uniquely combines physical, technical and cognitive training, with an approach inspired by the essence of Latin football: creativity, passion and decision-making in dynamic contexts.
Through our advanced assessment area, we accurately measure the performance of each athlete, obtaining key data to design personalized, evidence-based improvement plans.
At Athletic BCN, we transform talent into results, enhancing the skill, instinct and game intelligence that characterize Latin football.
Methodology:
We design intense and dynamic training scenarios that guarantee constant motivation throughout the improvement process. Our methodology is based on physical preparation as a fundamental pillar for the comprehensive development of athletes. We focus on recovering and enhancing the creative player, combining technical skills with high-level physical preparation. In each session, we use the ball as the main tool to maximize the athlete's strengths and turn weaknesses into opportunities for growth.
Each session lasts one hour , during which the player goes through each methodological stage — THE LAB, THE GYM, and THE PITCH — spending approximately 20 minutes in each space . This ensures a complete, varied, and progressive workout that simultaneously stimulates technical, physical, and cognitive abilities.
3 Methodological Scenarios

THE LAB
The LAB area consists of two training circuits that are modified every 15 days with the aim of stimulating variability, motivation, and player progression. Its main purpose is to improve passing and ball control, incorporating barefoot training as a key tool to enhance proprioception, contact sensitivity, and stability. In addition, plyometrics and strengthening of foot flexion-extension are promoted, which are fundamental for power, coordination, and injury prevention.
- The barefoot ball speed circuit presents technical-cognitive situations that reinforce agility, laterality, and execution speed, while also developing reactive strength and propulsion capacity.
- The barefoot ball interactive circuit stimulates peripheral vision and the ability to react to visual, auditory, and tactile stimuli, fostering quicker and more effective decision-making in high-demand game contexts.

THE PITCH

THE GYM
In this space, the combination of strength and speed is worked on as the foundation of physical performance. The goal is to optimize the body's ability to execute explosive and rapid movements, essential in soccer and other high-intensity sports. Through specific exercises, power, coordination, stability, and acceleration and braking abilities are developed. The training includes plyometric components, core and stability work, as well as applied strength stimuli, which together contribute to injury prevention and improving the player's overall athletic level.
